about

Catolico roared onto the electronic music scene in 2009 with his debut LP, Masssacre. He has since released four EP’s including the very unique Double VHS Cahier Fenêtre.

Mass2acre is Catolico’s second full-length studio album to be released on Catolico Film & Sound. The album was recorded over a year and a half at the Catolico Film and Sound studios in Vancouver and Montreal as well as The Hospital studios in Victoria and Winnipeg. Mass2acre starts off with the epic twenty minute “Living Sonata No. 2 in D sharp minor…” followed by thirteen tracks consisting of Catolico’s distinct dark techno and electro arrangements reminiscent of The Hacker and Tiga.

Catolico will be promoting Mass2acre in 2015 across North America, catch him at a club or afterhours near you.

about

Catolico Las Vegas, Nevada

Winnipeg, MB born, Vancouver, BC bred musician/director/screenwriter Scottt Catolico blissfully marries the macro with the micro on debut LP Masssacre, incorporating the same kind of knob-twiddling, free-improvisational methods that allowed bands like Nurse With Wound and His Name is Alive to sound so heady and unsolved two decades back.
